Self-Care Rituals

These rituals support different parts of me: my body, my mind, my energy, and my sense of grounding. I choose from them based on how I’m feeling, what I need, and what season of life I’m in.

Below are some of the self-care rituals I regularly return to — never all at once, and without pressure.

Here are some of the self-care rituals I return to and wanted to share with you.

About the Links

I’ve linked the items I use purely for convenience and sharing. This post is not sponsored or paid — just an honest sharing of the tools that have brought me comfort, calm, and presence over time throughout the years.

  • Steeping and drinking tea from Tea Forte as a way to slow down and begin or reset my day.  I also love Paromi Tea

  • Using an eye massager by Renpho to release tension and ease eye strain, especially on long days spent in front of the computer

  • Using a Gua Sha Jade Eye Mask for lymphatic drainage when my face feels tired or puffy

  • Applying Medicube collagen jelly cream as part of a gentle skincare ritual — it feels luxurious. It's also a clean product.

  • Using Vitamasques under-eye patches for extra care and hydration

  • Showering with Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap (Pure-Castile Liquid Soap in Citrus) for a refreshing, uplifting start or reset — the smell is amazing

  • Cleansing my skin with the PMD Clean Beauty Face Brush for gentle exfoliation (it helps keep acne away)

  • Relaxing with a Shiatsu foot massager to release tension after long days

  • Slipping into my All-Time favorite Cozy Robe and Slippers for comfort and ease

  • Lighting my current favorite Candle to create a calm, grounding atmosphere

  • Meditating with the Buddhify app for short, simple moments of mindfulness. This app is simple and straight forward.

  • Planning and reflecting in my Planned and Proper planner to clear my mind and reconnect with my priorities

Self-Care Isn’t a Checklist

Self-care is responsive. It changes with your energy, your needs, and your capacity. You’re allowed to choose what supports you and leave the rest behind.

A Gentle Reminder

If today feels heavy, slow, or uncertain, let this be your reminder that care doesn’t have to be complicated. Even one small ritual — a warm drink, a quiet moment, a few words written down — can make a difference.

Take what serves you. Leave the rest. 🤍

Your Partner in Planning,

Shea
